New Printer Ink with Lubricant aims to stop blocked printer head nozzle

Lubrink is a new type of printer ink that helps prevent inkjet printer head nozzles from getting blocked (non clogging).  Containing a secret and special formula, the new variation of ink combats this well known problem that effects many printer makes and models from Brother, Canon, and Epson amongst others; particularly those models that contain a fixed or semi permanent print head.

Just like petrol that contains a special lubricant to enhance the performance of cars, this new ink is designed to pass through the inkjet nozzles more easily, lowering the chances of a particle blockage.  In terms of printer nozzles, the gaps where the different colour inks pass are measured in microns, so keeping a clean system is critical to the long term health of a printer.  The secret ingredients in Lubrink not only lubricate, but also clean as they travel through the channels of the printer and onto the paper! 

The manufacturers of Lubrink are keen to stress that this new product will not guarantee against printer ink blockages and using the special ink should be seen as a precautionary measure.  Using this formulation of ink should reduce the likely hood of a blockage in the future and save many printers from early landfill.

A common question when switching to a different type of ink is whether it will cause a change in colour rendition?  In almost all cases colours will appear slightly different from the OEM ink and very slight adjustments may be made if necessary.  However most printer users will not bother changing the printer driver settings to adjust the R/G/B and C/M/Y mix.  The professionals will no doubt create profiles for each model of printer and paper media.

Priced at only a few Pounds more than ordinary compatible cheap Dye refill bulk ink, Lubrink should be a worthwhile investment. Currently only available in 100ml bottles for Brother, Canon, and Epson printers, but will soon also be sold in 1 Litre bottles (early 2013).  Demand is expected to be high from users who are keen to save their printers from early obsolescence.  Supplies may be limited in the early stages of production.

Step 1: Download and extract to C:AdjPro

- You can use auto.bat to start AdjPro.
- Or you can set your system date/time to: 07/07/2009 and double click Loader.exe to load AdjPro.exe
Note: don’t click to AdjPro.exe directly
With T13:
- You only start adjustment program with adjpro.exe no need to do more.

If you want to reset your printer (epson T-11) without software adjustment, follow this instruction step by step :
Step :
1. Prepare tools : Screwdriver + and – , scissor and cable wire

2. Open Body printer :

3. Detach paper barrier

After detach paper barrier :

4. Detach cables (power & data)

5. Open mainboard :

Chip on red cirle to be focus attention :

6. Strecht the cable :

7. Connect cable wire to pin 1-4 (like showed in this picture) :

8. Put mainboad to printer and don’t forget to attach data and power cable to mainboard, and screw mainboard.

9. Turn on the printer. Base on my experience it will work. Notice there’s no blink anymore

10. Turn off the printer.

11. Take mainboard.

12. Detach cable wire which connected to pin 1-4

13. Then put mainboard to printer again (don’t forget to attach data and power cable to mainboard and strength the screw)

14. Turn on the printer again

15. Finish

Note:

After step 10, don’t forget to detach cable wire which connected to pin 1-4. If you forget it, computer will read your printer as Epson S 20.

Reset MP390 Waste Ink Full Tank

The below reset procedure worked for me. I did not have to clean the waste-ink sponge. Many thanks to lp who originally posted it and to "Anonymous" who reposted it.

1)Printer on, press Additional Functions, Scan, Copy, Scan
Now you should be in service mode from there for waste ink tank reset

2)Select Test mode which is like the last avalabe selection
3)Select #8 Printer Test, it will do something here like cleaning or something then it will come up with some other option this is where it gets a bit confusing cause now all it says is like 8-2 or 8-3 push the + or - button until it says 8-3 then hit the select button

The menu will now say EEPRON Clear
Select Ink count which is option (0) and press set

Then press Stop/Reset Followed by the power button and then wait for it to restart.

The new compact Epson Expression Home XP-102 all-in-one printer becomes available to buy from today priced around £50 and aimed at the home and student market.
Previously the word Expression was used by Epson for its scanner range, but we will soon see a list of printer models bearing this tag, followed by letters XP.

I am not sure if Alza save more fuel better or more less compare to other cars because i dont owned any other. However if compare to Hyundai Accent then Alza certainly save much more and i know this for a fact.

Augusta Ada King, Countess of Lovelace (10 December 1815 – 27 November 1852), born Augusta Ada Byron and now commonly known as Ada Lovelace, was an English mathematician and writer chiefly known for her work on Charles Babbages early mechanical general-purpose computer, the analytical engine. Her notes on the engine include what is recognized as the first algorithm intended to be processed by a machine. Because of this, she is sometimes considered the worlds first computer programmer.

One of the gentlemanly scientists of the era was to become Adas lifelong friend. Charles Babbage, Lucasian professor of mathematics at Cambridge, was known as the inventor of the Difference Engine, an elaborate calculating machine that operated by the method of finite differences. Ada met Babbage in 1833, when she was just 17, and they began a voluminous correspondence on the topics of mathematics, logic, and ultimately all subjects.

Babbage had made plans in 1834 for a new kind of calculating machine (although the Difference Engine was not finished), an Analytical Engine. His Parliamentary sponsors refused to support a second machine with the first unfinished, but Babbage found sympathy for his new project abroad. In 1842, an Italian mathematician, Louis Menebrea, published a memoir in French on the subject of the Analytical Engine. Babbage enlisted Ada as translator for the memoir, and during a nine-month period in 1842-43, she worked feverishly on the article and a set of Notes she appended to it. These are the source of her enduring fame.

Ada called herself "an Analyst (& Metaphysician)," and the combination was put to use in the Notes. She understood the plans for the device as well as Babbage but was better at articulating its promise. She rightly saw it as what we would call a general-purpose computer. It was suited for "developing and tabulating any function whatever. he engine is the material expression of any indefinite function of any degree of generality and complexity." Her Notes anticipate future developments, including computer-generated music.

Analytical Engine

Ada died of uterine cancer in 1852, at the age of 37, and was buried beside the father she never knew. Her contributions to science were resurrected only recently, but many new biographies* attest to the fascination of Babbages "Enchantress of Numbers."

The computer language Ada, created on behalf of the United States Department of Defense, was named after Ada Lovelace. The reference manual for the language was approved on 10 December 1980, and the Department of Defense Military Standard for the language, "MIL-STD-1815", was given the number of the year of her birth. Since 1998, the British Computer Society has awarded a medal in her name and in 2008 initiated an annual competition for women students of computer science.The village computer centre in the village of Porlock, near where Ada Lovelace lived, is named after her. There is a building in the small town of Kirkby-in-Ashfield, Nottinghamshire named "Ada Lovelace House". Now-defunct UK computer company International Computers Limited (now Fujitsu Siemens) had their main development centre at Lovelace Road in Bracknell. 51° 24 25" N 0° 46 28" W.

Toner Counter Reset for MFC 7840W MFC 7360N MFC 8480

Imagine the huge savings you can enjoy by using a Brother TN360 (TN-360) Compatible High Capacity Black Laser Toner Cartridge! However, some are hesitant to try as often off market brand of cartridges although newly installed does not seem to work with their printer. Common issue that can be encountered by using a "Compatible Toner" is the Error Message: "Toner Life End"; "Toner Low" and "Replace Toner".

Do not be disappointed right away.  I have been able to walk through all of my customers to resolve the above error message by simply pressing a few buttons on your printer control panel. Believe me, this has work countless times for the following models - MFC-7840W; MFC-7360N; MFC-8480.

Before doing the following procedure, make sure that your printer is "ON" and that the item in concern (TN360) is installed on your machine. 

1. Open the front door where you access the toner.

2. Press the "Clear/Back" button. You will be asked to "REPLACE DRUM?"  (1) Yes (2) No

3. Please DO NOT type in 1 or 2! instead, type in *00 on the keypad and you should be rewarded with "Accepted".

4. Close the front door, that concludes the toner counter reset procedure.

Pretty simple right? this is a trick that Brother doesnt want you to know.  

Now.. go ahead and do a test print. I am positive that you will be able to resume printing. If the case is otherwise, you should return the cartridge to the place of purchase.
